Our visionGlobal mobility should run as smoothly as payroll.
Every company has a system for payroll, accounting and sales. Global mobility is often the last function without one. We are changing that with premote.
- 01
Individual cases have turned into volume
Global mobility used to mean a few long-term assignments, up to 2,000 a year at large companies. Today it means up to 30,000 business trips, project assignments and workations. Each of them comes with obligations: A1 certificates, posted worker notifications, visas, tax and permanent establishment risks. In many companies this still ends up in spreadsheets, email ping-pong and expensive one-off advice.
- 02
From case manager to global mobility engineer
Checking every case by hand cannot keep up with these volumes. That is why the role of global mobility is changing. Global mobility engineers build systems that handle most cases without manual work. They connect the data from HR and travel systems, decide which rules apply and take care of the cases that need experience.
- 03
Expertise belongs in a rulebook
Expertise remains the foundation. It is defined once as an if-then rule and then applied the same way to every case, independent of individual people and with a complete audit trail. We build premote because global mobility should not be a consulting project.
- 04
The system handles most of the work
Employees book as usual and only see the steps that matter for their trip. Our goal is 80 to 90 percent of all cases without anyone stepping in. That way a small global mobility team multiplies its impact, and global mobility becomes fun again.
We are working on this with a small, extremely performance-driven team, bootstrapped and profitable. Our revenue has doubled every year since we were founded, 100+ enterprise customers such as KUKA, Roland Berger and Mitsubishi Electric work with premote, and right now we are pushing our European and international expansion forward.
